Return to Larger Groups
May 17th - Groups of 30.

Following the Government Roadmap from ay 17th it will be acceptable for people to exercise outside in groups of 30 or less, so we are planning to re-start our Monday and Thursday runs on this basis.

5k and 10k Muster runs as normal - Thursday's Hill sessions and away days  - Check FB....

COVID-19 Most important - Please remember

All participants, must undergo a self-assessment for any COVID-19 symptoms. No-one should leave home to participate in this run if they, or someone they live with, has any of the following:
· A high temperature
· A new, continuous cough
· A loss of, or change to, their sense of smell or taste

Or they are self-isolating for any other Covid related reason.

We are starting the runs at 18:45 - usually from Victoria Park - But not always - so check FB

We will have to ensure that we do not have more than 30 people congregating at the Start / Finish of the runs, so please make sure you arrive just before your start time, if you are early stay in your car / jog round the carpark etc. Help us avoid groups of more than 30 people.

Once you have finished your run, again please avoid being in a group of more than 30.

Again we will not be under the normal VPRC insurance cover. Just running as individuals at our own risk. Therefore, everyone will need to agree to this before joining in.

Please use the voting option on this invite to indicate what Start time you want, and then arrive just before that start time. Please choose a less busy start time if possible.

And Do Vote - We need to know how many people to expect.

One of you will then volunteer / be appointed as Group Leader, and it will be that person’s responsibility to:

- Follow the Covid-19 Government guidelines within the group.
- Know the chosen route – not get lost.
- Keep the group together – setting an agreed pace for your group, mustering etc
- Avoid other groups. No photos of 20 people together etc
- Not get the club in the papers / Social media for all the wrong reasons etc.

VPRC Flag coming soon

To promote the club at local running events we have bought a VPRC Banner flag - Watch out for it in Vicky Park on our runbs, Wear your club kit and get you photo taken with the Flag
